Funeral Training 2026

One of the most rewarding things I've ever done was research rites of passage and train to be a celebrant. I set up the charity A Quiet Revolution and trained a network of Humanist celebrants to offer bespoke wedding and funeral ceremonies.

In Feb 26, the team offered another round of occasional funeral training.

For the first time, I handed over the reins to my chums - James, Yva and Jude who I trusted to take over running the charity as I’m in succession planning mode.

A small, select batch of funeral celebrants will eventually join the fold. It's a gorgeous growing family of curious, lively, questioning, like-minded folk.

I’m excited for the new trainees. I have no doubt, their new skills will lead to many discoveries on a journey to be their best selves.
